  I loved my experience at the spud , the food was fantastic! I have tried a lot of stuff there and have been happy with every bit of it. The prices are great for the quality of the food! The atmosphere of the place is awesome to be around, it never gets old I love going there and will continue to go there for years to cone! I highly recommend this place! You won’t regret it!

  My first trip to Deer Lake was Christmas 2016, the food at the Spud was amazing on my second trip this past summer again i had the Spud but this time the onion rings were burnt, had next to no flavor and the Tater Poutine was salty and the price was ridiculous. Epically disappointing

  Deer Lakes local flavour takeout and summer patio. Has attached laundromat, great for if you love the food so much that you get it all over yourself! Or if you just want to wash your clothes ;)

  Retro atmosphere and fantastic service. Ordered the Snack Attack which includes fries/taters, two onion rings, two mozzarella sticks, two chicken strips, and a coleslaw. It was all good with the exception of the onion rings which were a tad bit overcooked. All in all, a great place for a quick bite.
