  We have travelled across Canada and stayed at lots of campgrounds in both National and Provincial Parks and privately run Establishments. Deer Lake was unfortunately not the best. We were down by the lake which was a 10 minute return trip to the only washroom facility on site so we just went straight to bed on arrival and then drove to the showers on our way out in the morning. What facilities they did have on site were meadocre at best, only one shower and no natural light in the washroom meaning it was really dark. Also, you could only get wifi at the office! $25 is too much for what you get.

  Arrived to find that they had forgotten our reservations which wasn't a big deal by itself, but there were other issues with this place. The sites we ended up getting had no RV hookups and the ground wasn't very flat for our RVs. There don't seem to be any quiet hours as the campers 2 sites over were blasting loud music and yelling until 2:35am. Asking for them to turn it down around 1:30am did nothing. The washrooms are dumpy and you can see missing paint on the walls where urinals used to be. Overall I would not recommend anyone stay here.
